The Secretary of the Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment, the Director of the National Secretariat for Persons with Disabilities and other officials participated in this. Also, 100 people with disabilities from home and abroad also participated.

Traveled by train from Colombo Fort railway station to Kandy and visited Dalada Maliga and received blessings. After that, the group was taken to visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Here entertainment programs were held for handicapped children of Vattegama Vocational Training Institute.
